Calling All NYC Dancers & Performing Artists – Paid Performance Opportunity
We made history with the first ever, internet radio and Ustream.tv show completely focused on highlighting the best of the best, in the dance world in New York City in 2010!! Now, we are celebrating the 1-year anniversary of our internet radio/Ustream.tv show, The Kiner Hour – Let’s Talk Dance with Ashani Mfuko, and we’re doing it New York City style!! We will also be recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month through our charity event, and will be honoring the beautiful and talented, Marjory Smarth!
Our 1-yr anniversary celebration and charity event, will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 8:30 pm, at The Triad Theater 158 West 72nd St., and will include guest performances, video highlights, drinks, and an all-around fantastic party, celebrating dancers in New York City, and all over the world!
We are looking for dynamic, New York City-based dance soloists, dance groups, dance companies, musicians/bands, spoken word artists, etc., to perform at our anniversary party!
If you are interested in being a part of our anniversary celebration, and having your group or company as one of the featured performers, please read the directions below on how to submit yourself, or your group for this amazing performance opportunity!
To submit your group or company as a performer in this show:
- E-mail your website, with video samples and/or an electronic press kit to: info@kinerenterprises.com.
Please include answers to the following questions to expedite your booking:
- How would you describe your style of dance or music?
- How many performers are in the show?
- What are the instruments (if any) used in the performance?
- What other venues have you performed at in New York City?
- What is the average number of people who attend your shows?
THE DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS TUES., OCT 4, 2011.
If you are chosen to be one of the guest performers for our celebration, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with more details and information by, Tues., October 11, 2011.

Each performer will be paid based on your number of guests/tickets sold.
For example: 25 Tickets x $25 per/ticket – 10% fee (Triad Theater) = $562.50 (Your Performance Pay)
Your guests must RSVP for this event in advance. CLICK HERE To RSVP. Your guests must also mention your name at the door, in order for you to get credit for their ticket.
The tech rehearsal for this performance is scheduled for, Thurs., Oct. 27th 5-6 pm. All performers are required to attend the tech rehearsal.
