How To Strengthen Your Muscles And Accomplish Anything

So, I haven’t been writing new blog posts consistently for a little while, and boy do I feel out of shape! I feel like my writing muscles have atrophied. It’s pretty crazy how quickly your muscles, of any sort, can weaken when they’re not being used often enough. It’s so easy to get distracted with the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, that sometimes we forget that, the less we use our ‘muscles’, the weaker they become.

Have you been exercising your imagination muscles? Your relationship muscles with your loved ones? Your physical, spiritual, and mental muscles? If not, they may be starting to atrophy unbeknownst to you.

So, how do you get back on track?

You get up, and get moving (so to speak)!

Don’t wait ’til you feel like it. Get started and you’ll quickly feel like it. ~ Ralph Marston

You have to start doing the very thing that you’ve fallen out of habit doing. Whether that’s going to the gym, reading everyday, meditating, praying, spending quality down time with your child or spouse, doing something that you love, or even being more consistent in making social media updates for your company or brand. Start doing it now! Don’t wait!

Every person who has ever achieved anything of value has done so in spite of the challenges standing in the way. You can do it too. ~ Ralph Marston

I find that, the best way to get moving in the right direction at this point is to, simply act. Don’t make a list of all of the things you’re going to do. Don’t plan, don’t strategize, and don’t put it off until tomorrow. Nike said it best, “Just Do It!” Do that thing today, and watch your ‘muscles’ begin to come alive again.

With the “Just Do It” mentality, you will be able to accomplish anything!

Why, you ask?

Because you will get in the habit of doing, rather than contemplating and daydreaming.

It’s wonderful to have a great idea. But it’s not enough. To gain the value from any idea, plan, or project, you must act upon it. ~ Ralph Marston

So let’s all commit to begin strengthening our physical, spiritual, and mental muscles today, and see just how much we can truly accomplish.
