Never Stand Still is a dance documentary about a rare place and the artists who dare to express the inexpressible through movement. The film explores why dance matters – to those who create and perform it and to those who watch it. Narrated by Tony Award winner Bill T. Jones, directed by Ron Honsa and shot on location at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, America’s longest running dance festival.
Through candid conversations with world-class choreographers and dancers, thrilling performances, backstage access and rare archival footage, Never Stand Still explores the unbridled passion and discipline that is demanded of those who choose a life in dance, transporting the viewer into a world of non-stop movement.
