Celebrating National Dance Week – NYC through Social Media for Dance Studios

Today, Saturday, June 5th, is Day #15 in our 90-Day Social Media Success Challenge for Dance Studios, and also the start of National Dance Week – NYC. National Dance Week-NYC is a 10-Day Festival of FREE Dance Classes, and special events and performances which celebrates the joy and diversity of dance in the NYC community. It is from June 5-14, 2010.

I attended the National Dance Week – NYC party at The Alvin Ailey Studios in New York City, celebrating The Ailey Extension’s 5th Year Anniversary! Check out some of the photos!

You may be asking yourself, how does this relate to the social media marketing for my dance studio? Well, part of a successful social media marketing campaign is promoting other organizations and events that are related to your field, and will be of interest to your fans and followers. Events such as this one are a great opportunity to offer special discounts, free classes, promotions, or contests for your dance studio, through all of your social media outlets. If you’re not in New York City, you can still promote this celebration of dance, and promote fun and interesting facts about this wonderful dance world that we’re all a part of!

Visit http://ndw-nyc.org for detailed information, and don’t forget to tell of your fans, followers, and friends about National Dance Week – NYC!
