On tonight’s episode of “Inside New York City Dance“, get an inside look at what it’s like to dance on Broadway, from Fela! on Broadway Rhythm Tap Dancer, Gelan Lambert, and Master Tap Teacher, Germaine Goodson. Gelan Lambert, a Julliard graduate, has been on Broadway and on tour with Fela! for the past three years. He gives us insight into what it takes to survive as a Broadway performer. Then, Germaine Goodson, a Master Tap Teacher at The Ailey Extension, and Steps on Broadway shares her story, with a personal account of a devastating foot injury. Later on in the show, Dance Magazine Columnist, and Clinical Psychologist, Dr.Linda Hamilton offers tips on how to manage the stress of injuries, rejection, and other obstacles dancers face everyday.
